This past year has culminated with several events surrounding the release of my first comic book, which I blogged about recently. On Nov. 29 I was invited to speak at Exeter Community Library about my illustration and design work and the process of making comics. The family friendly event had a question and answer session afterwards. On Dec. 17 I attended the Antietam Valley Farmer’s Artists and Author Holiday Market to also promote the book. To round out the year I illustrated my third magazine cover for Desert Companion Magazine in Las Vegas, Nevada. The project involved creating a cover around important historic events in 1989 in Las Vegas. The issue is on newsstands now around the city. You can download a digital copy in my store or visit Desert Companion online. On Saturday February 9, I'll be speaking at the Reading Public Library about creating comics starting at 1 p.m.
